The Prudence Crandall Center was the recipent of the items that were made by our generous library patrons. The items were displayed on the mitten and hat tree in the library during the holidays. Julie Morgan, our contact person for the Hartford County Bar Foundation assisted us in delivering the donations and passed along this letter she received from the Prudence Crandall Center.

"On behalf of the Prudence Crandall Center, I would like to gratefully acknowledge and thank you for your generous donation of knitted hats, scarves and mittens for the women and children of our emergency shelter and program services that we provide for survivors of domestic violence and their families.

It is because of generous supporters such as your self that we are able to provide all the services that we do.  Your continued commitment to Prudence Crandall Center is truly appreciated.

Thank you again!"
