Art Exhibit in the Anne Walluk Community Room

Carol Jaspersohn

Carol was born and raised in London, England. Her interest in art began as a
young child and she began painting when she was a young girl.
She met Tom, her future husband, in London while he was stationed over seas
in the U.S. Air Force.
Carol and Tom married and had three children. Shortly after their third
child was born, the family moved to Tom's home town of Branford,
Connecticut, and eventually settled in Bristol, where they raised their
three children. Although Carol was busy with the children and their
activities, she always made time for her creative endeavors, including
renovating their old Colonial house while continuing to paint.
After numerous losses in her life, Carol has become quite a prolific painter
and now paints daily. She finds painting to be therapeutic and it provides
her with a sense of peace.
Carol now lives in Burlington. Her three dogs and the beauty of the natural
setting that surrounds her have inspired her art. In recent years, she
has been expanding her painting style to depict colorful and awe inspiring
Carol works entirely in acrylics which she finds well suited to her
spontaneity and she hopes that you will enjoy viewing her paintings.
