Proposed Library Expansionexpansion
The Board of Library Directors and Staff have been working on a proposal for a much needed library expansion. The Connecticut State Library has awarded a $1,000,000 grant to help.  A public hearing and a referendum will be held in early 2015. A display of the expansion is at the library.

Susan B. Anthony Project
November 29 - December 20

Susan B. Anthony Project in Torrington, CT strives to rebuild the lives of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

This year we are decorating our tree with Giving Ornaments. Each ornament will suggest items that are needed during the holidays and throughout the year. Please select an ornament. Bring in the item or items listed on the ornament to the library to be placed under our tree. All items collected with be given to the Susan B. Anthony Project.
